Impact IT Solutions

Thanks to a mutual friend, we heard about Drew and the aims of his parents in setting up a legacy to their beautiful boy and we immediately wanted to help.  We are immensely proud to have supported The Drew Barker-Wright Charity since the beginning, working with Mel & Jon to design and develop the website, posters, tickets, football banners and running vest designs.  We will continue to support such a worthwhile charity dedicated to funding research into Paediatric Chordoma

Impact are an IT company that provides IT support and Web design services to companies throughout the South West and Wales.  Based in Bristol we design and develop web sites and design all print media from banners and posters to merchandise material.

Sitka Recruitment

“We are delighted to support The Drew Barker-Wright Charity this year.  This charity is very close to our hearts and we recognise that our help will assist them in raising much needed funds for their research into Paediatric Chordoma, as well as help support the vital work they do in supporting families affected by this condition.’

Sitka is the specialist recruitment agency founded by two friends and former colleagues.  We specialise in recruiting professionals into Finance, HR and Marketing positions. Based in Cardiff, we are focussed on finding the best talent in the market for private, public and third sector clients across South Wales.

We are passionate about recruitment and helping the people we meet. Our mission is to help more employers and candidates in South Wales have a successful and enjoyable recruitment experience.

The Bakers Table

The Bakers’ Table is a community interest company which means we trade for social rather than financial objectives.  We are an award winning cafe serving local, seasonal food, with a bakery producing artisan bread using flour milled on site. We have collaborated with many local community groups since we opened in 2011, offering a venue, sponsorship, and raffle prizes to name but a few.

We supported Drew’s family by fundraising to allow them to stay together during his illness; Drew was a regular visitor to the café with his Mummy and Daddy, and it was one of his favourite places.  We continue to support The Drew Barker-Wright Charity’s aims in memory of a truly special little boy who captured our hearts during his short life in our community.

Ty Cariad

Local business Ty Cariad supported Drew while he was in hospital and has continued to support his charity over the last year. They have held regular Emma Bridgewater raffles and also donate all carrier bag payments to The Drew Barker-Wright Charity.

Talgarth Mill

“Together, it’s the only way” – sums up completely why Felin Talgarth Mill is delighted to be a supporter of the Drew Barker-Wright Charity. As a not-for-profit, community enterprise, charged with supporting regeneration in the area, supporting the environment, and promoting sustainability, we try and focus on actions and activities that help deliver those goals. We mill flour, we provide tours of our working watermill, and offer educational visits for schools and groups. Alongside that, where we can, we help support other local groups and organisations – making the Mill available for meetings, fundraising, or social events. As well as helping support and promote the Drew Barker-Wright charity and its events and activities generally, we are proud to help organise a number of runs throughout the year, starting and finishing at the Mill, to fundraise directly for the charity. Looking forward to continuing to work together and seeing the incredible support that the Drew Barker-Wright charity can give to families affected by paediatric chordoma.

Morgans of Pontybat

Morgans of Pontybat are a local, family run business. We decided this year to give our customers the opportunity to nominate charities local to our shop locations for our support, and they chose for our Christmas Barn to support the Drew-Barker Wright charity. Being a local family, the loss of Drew affected the whole community, even those that did not know him, and many businesses and individuals pulled together to help. We will be supporting the charity in various ways such as contributing a £1 for every Christmas tree sold, by holding raffles during the Christmas season, and fundraising activities during events that run during November and December.
